    Overview

    The goal of the DU Alberta mentorship program will be to provide each undergrad DU member of the Chapter with an alumni mentor to allow for the development of a relationship in which a more experienced person helps a less experienced person develop a specified capacity aligned to DU undergrad identified goals. In short, the mentor program is a tool to help Alberta Chapter align to the Delta Upsilon objective to Build Better Men. The Alberta DU mentoring program is part of the overall education and development program for undergraduate DU brothers.

    Mentor Process:

    - Each undergrad will fill out a questionnaire after January initiation;
    - The alumni involved will provide their information including current careers and interests.
    - The Alberta Mentor program will have Mentor Advisory Board consisting of Alumni Mentor coaches and an Active Chapter focal point. The Mentor coaches will act as a resource for the Mentors. The Active Chapter focal point will be a Chapter resource for undergraduates.
    - The alumni and actives will be matched by careers and interests. Ideally, an alumnus will not have the same career as a parents’ to give the undergraduate some diversity in his resources.
