Why join Delta U?
Delta U is the only non-secret fraternity at University of Alberta. What does it mean to be non-secret? This means that all of our values and rituals are able to be shared with anyone. When you are initiated as a brother in the chapter you may invite anyone you wish to witness the big event! After all, joining a fraternity is a big deal! Why would you want to initiate behind closed doors?
Furthermore, WE DON'T HAZE! We offer a pledge education program that doesn't teach through abuse. Our pledge education program concentrates on developing and guiding men towards a successful college career. We build brotherhood through our big and little brother program.
DU Alberta has a very active Alumni organization meeting which meets monthly. Our Alumni are involved as mentors to undergraduate brothers. Networking is important.

Being non-secret means that we are held to high standards not only by ourselves but by others as well. We maintain our reputation of excellence through our social activities, campus and community involvement, ongoing service projects, and our focus on academic achievements.
