Undergraduate Mentoring requirements
The Undergraduate responsibilities are:
- Completing the undergrad questionnaire prior to the Mentor kickoff meeting
- Reviewing the goals templates prior to attending the Mentor kickoff meeting.
- The undergrad will create a draft of his goals prior to the kickoff meeting. A set of examples of goals will be provided by the Mentor Advisory Board.
- The undergrad will attend the Mentor kickoff meeting.
- The undergrad will work with his mentor to finalize the mentoring goals at the Mentoring Workshop.
- The undergrad commitment will be a weekly phone call and a minimum of 2 hours a month to communicate with the Alumni mentor. The mentor pair is encouraged to meet face to face several times during each of the three mentoring periods.
- Providing feedback to the undergrad Chapter Focal point on a minimum of a monthly basis.
- Completing the final survey in December. The questionnaire will provide feedback on their mentoring experience, what are the most valued aspects of the relationship, how often were the mentor pair communicated (and how) and what they think could help strengthened the relationship and what hurt it.
